Happiest Celebration On Earth Pal Mickey

Happiest Celebration On Earth Pal Mickey

If you plan to visit Walt Disney World anytime soon, you should definitely pick up one of these guys. Created for the worldwide festivities to commemorate the 50th anniversary of Disneyland, Happiest Celebration On Earth Pal Mickey ($88 online, $65 at WDW) features wireless technology that allows him to tell you all kinds of fun facts, based on where you are in any of the four theme parks, and he also gives you the heads up to the day’s parade and fireworks schedules. Once home, he still tells jokes and plays three interactive games.

  • Garmin StreetPilot c330 GPS System

Not all of us are lucky enough to be driving in new cars fitted with built-in GPS systems, but all of us have needed a little help now and then with directions. Garmin’s latest addition to its award-winning lineup of GPS systems, the StreetPilot c330 ($770) can help with directions, and can even help pick out where you are going — it comes pre-loaded with a database of over five million points of interest, selected from the unit’s 3.5 inch touchscreen. It’s also featured in a commercial with NBA star Yao Ming — and who are we to argue with a 7’ 6” dude?

  • Kite Aerial Photography Rig

The KAP Camera Rig ($45) from MTM Scientific lets you snap aerial photographs using a disposable camera, a kite, and an ice cube (it melts to trip the shutter while in the air). The product comes ready-to-fly with a 27 shot Kodak Funsaver Camera. Unfortunately, you'll have to pull the kite in and reload the ice cube after only one shot, but the results are definitely worth it. [photo via Matt Haughey]
