Inglorious Bastards
Before you watch the remake on August 21, settle down with the 1977 cult classic for a bit of perspective. Inglorious Bastards ($23) is making its first appearance on Blu-ray, completely restored in high-definition. Starring Bo Svenson and Fred 'The Hammer' Williamson, and directed by Enzo Castellari, this badass war movie follows a gang of condemned criminals who escape an Allied prison only to find themselves fighting Nazis in France. With extras including audio commentary from Castellari, theatrical trailers, and a conversation between Castellari and Tarantino himself, it's a must-see before heading out to view Q's re-imagined version.
