Everyone's favorite dark, brooding NYC indie band is back with its eponymous fourth album, Interpol ($8). This ten-track effort is a return to the band's roots in more way than one — they've ditched some of the over-production that made Our Love to Admire a so-so affair, while also returning to their original label Matador. Is it filled with sing-along winners like Antics? No. Instead, it gets better with repeated listenings, unlike most of today's pop-heavy "rock."
