The ‘90’s were an interesting time in our history. We began the decade with drivel like “Heaven” from Warrant playing on the radio, and ended it with everyone scared to death their computers were going to suddenly blow up at midnight (or something like that). Out of all that mess managed to come the Juicy Salif Fruit Juicer by Phillip Stark ($79) — one of our favorite ’90s designs, by one of our favorite designers. It juices fruit, it can double as a triple-speared defense weapon, and is guaranteed to start some good conversations at parties, provided you don’t put it away in that cabinet that currently holds your old juicer.
