Lexus LF-A

Lexus LF-A

Cars like this usually stay at the concept stage indefinitely. But the Lexus LF-A ($375,000) will be built in 2010 and can be parked in your garage this time next year. Powered by a lightweight (aluminum alloy, magnesium alloy and titanium alloy) 4.8-liter V10 engine, this rear-drive, two-seat supercar pushes over 550 horsepower and a 0-60 time of 3.7 seconds with a top speed of 202 mph. Only 500 will be produced worldwide.

  • 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG

For as long as we can remember, we've wanted a vintage Mercedes Benz 300SL parked in the Uncrate garage, so when we see its iconic gullwing doors appear on a new MB model, we just have to tell you about it. Luckily, the 2010 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG ($TBA) isn't any old Benz. Packing a front/mid-mounted 6.3-liter AMG V8 good for 563 hp, a 0-60 time of just 3.7 seconds, and a top speed of 197 mph, this new coupe is an absolute rocket, and boasts stunning, retro-styled looks that are sure to turn heads — just in time to see you fly past. • Maserati GranCabrio

What do you get when you rip the top off a blazing-fast Pininfarina-designed sedan? The Maserati GranCabrio ($TBA), that's what. Powered by a 4.7L 433hp V8, the two-door GranCabrio is the Trident's first four-seater convertible, featuring a cloth top to reduce weight and save space, a ZF six-speed automatic transmission, and sexy styling that will have your neighbor's Z4 weeping in the garage.
