Mad Men
Before there was Breaking Bad, AMC blew away expectations with the ad agency drama Mad Men ($40). Set in the "Golden Age" of advertising, the excellent show was created by a talented producer and writer of The Sopranos. The Season One DVD set ($40; July 2008) includes all 13 episodes, commentaries, featurettes, and other bonus material. But best of all, the set comes packaged in a metal Zippo-like DVD case.
