The Thirst Mutilator is making the jump from the big screen to your local 7-Eleven. As you'll recall, Brawndo was the sports drink that replaced water, even for crop irrigation (it's got what plants crave!), in Mike Judge's cult hit Idiocracy. Well, starting next week, you too will be able to spurn water and start your own dependency on Brawndo ($TBA). True to its movie roots, the lemon-lime energy drink is bright green "with a smooth tangy flavor" and 200 mg of caffeine, electrolytes, inositol and guarana. We're not sure if this is really awesome or really sad. But either way, the future is coming. And it doesn't look smart. [via]
Designed in 1957 by Luigi Massoni and Carlo Mazzeri, this Alessi Cocktail Shaker ($88) was part of a line of barware called Programme 4. Made of satin-finished stainless steel, the iconic design features two functional dents in the lid, making it more than just another pretty object for your kitchen or bar.
Corkcicle introduces the Waterman series to its hydration line, which takes its already best in class triple insulated cup to another level with the addition of a super durable powder coated finish. This coolest cup ever is crafted from 2 layers of stainless steel with a vacuum seal and is the only insulated Tumbler with a proprietary third layer of insulation that further improves how long its keeps your drinks hot or cold. With easy-grip sides, a no-slip bottom, and shatterproof, drink-thru lid, the Waterman edition offers you best-in-class sipping for your wildest adventures.

The Heineken DraughtKeg ($20) combines two of our favorite things — beer and technology. A little shorter than a 2-liter of Pepsi, the 5L DraughtKeg — good for 20 eight-ounce glasses of brew — is the first and only keg with a built-in CO2 pressure system, allowing you to have true draught beer in your fridge. It's also got a patented tapping system that keeps the beer fresh for 30 days after tapping. So when your milk is bad, your lunch meat is smelling funny and your eggs are no longer safe, at least you can still have a frosty one.
Prepare yourself for college football season with Pocket Shots ($2/each). These portable pouches of quality liquors — vodka, rum, tequila, gin, or whiskey — are easily stuffed into pockets and bags, letting you make your unauthorized stadium drinks with the greatest of ease. [Thanks, Gregory]
