Monty Python: Almost The Truth
It's hard to believe that Monty Python's Flying Circus debuted 40 years ago, but that longevity has allowed it to influence countless other writers, comedians, and performers, as documented in Monty Python: Almost The Truth ($25). This "Lawyer's Cut" of the six-hour IFC documentary follows the troupe from its early beginnings through modern times, with plenty of interviews with the original cast, as well as from other famous and not-so famous fans of the show. Sure, you could just watch the series as it airs, but like any classic Python skit, you'll likely find repeat viewings equally enjoyable.
