Definitely near the very top of our favorite movie list for 2009, Moon ($20-$25) is a bleak sci-fi film that's an instant classic in the genre. The alien-less movie features an amazing performance from an isolated Sam Rockwell whose only companion for the last couple years has been the Hal-like GERTY 3000. We won't give away the twist, but rest assured it's a good one. Special features include commentary with writer/director Duncan Jones; "Whistle," a short film by Jones; Q&A's with Jones; and a making-of featurette.
