Amidst the cell-phone bomb that was dropped by Moto the other day, we almost missed out on the one new phone that seems to be, well, just a phone. The Motorola MOTOFONE ($TBA, Q4) is a redefinition of simplistic style, with physical design cues from the SLVR and a redesigned UI that leverages iconography and voice prompts as opposed to text. It also features a new ClearVision Electrophoretic Display that works great in bright sunlight, speakerphone, long battery life, and a louder-than-normal volume so that it can be used easily in crowded, busy places. Sounds to us like this may be the best true phone out of the new lineup.
