New York City Subway Diagram 2008

Massimo Vignelli's 1972 NYC subway diagram was hailed as an instant classic, with clean colored lines, type set in Helvetica, and paths running on 45- and 90-degree angles. Unfortunately, the masses expected a map, not a diagram. Now Vignelli has revisited his famous, ultra-collectible plan, taking into account more than 30 years' worth of changes. Available in a limited edition of 500 and signed by Vignelli himself, the New York City Subway Diagram 2008 by Vignelli Designs ($300) is a 36" x 45" collectible that's sure to become a classic — just like the original. [Thanks, Sahadeva]
