The Nikon D200 ($1700; available in Dec.) is more than just a replacement for 2002’s D100 — it is a real step forward in affordable dSLRs with professional stats. I features a 10.2 megapixel CCD, a 2.5” LCD, can shoot at a sustained 5 frames per second for up to 37 frames, and can take up to 1800 shots per charge. Now comes the hard part — trying to find somewhere to dump off your D100 from yesteryear.
