We've been worried about Oakley for the last few years. Drunk with success and looking for higher profits, their cutting-edge metal sunglasses gave way to generic, mass-market plastic frames. With Whisker ($205), they may finally be on the road to recovery. Touted as the thinnest wire frame ever created by the company, Whisker also boasts the optically awesome lenses Oakley pioneered, and can be upgraded to polarized lenses (shown) for $50 more. And it strongly resembles the company's earlier A-Wire, an old Uncrate favorite.
