Ox All Terrain Vehicle

Designed as a low-cost mobility solution for the developing world, the Ox All Terrain Vehicle is far from a standard SUV. For starters, it's the first vehicle ever designed to be flat-packed (like Ikea furniture) and assembled on-site. Its front wheels are powered by a 4-cylinder diesel engine from Ford that puts out 100hp and is easily maintained and repaired. Its inner cab holds up to the three people, while the cargo area can carry over two tons, seat 13 people, or carry eight 44-gallon drums. It has fully independent suspension on all four wheels, insanely large approach, departure, and traverse angles, high ground clearance, and a tailgate that can detach from the truck to serve as a loading ramp, making it ideal for transporting people and goods in locations where roads are poor or non-existent. No word yet on price, but you can bet it'll be popular in far more places than its creators expect.
