Palm Treo with Windows Mobile

Because it was just announced an hour or so ago, we're not really sure what to think of the Palm Treo running Windows Mobile 5.0. We're not big Microsoft fans here at Uncrate, but then again we're not big fans of the horrible email client on our Treo 650 either. The new Treo Smartphone ($TBA; available in early 2006) ditches the Palm OS for the Windows Mobile platform, which offers portable versions of Microsoft's Outlook, Office and Internet Explorer. It works with Verizon's high-speed wireless broadband network, and packs in a one megapixel camera, Bluetooth and 64MB of memory plus a SD card slot.
