We're not sure there's a real benefit to using a fuzzy light switch instead of a standard plastic one, but this thing sure will differentiate your crib from the next guy's place. Designed by Dr. Margaret Orth, the Pom Pom light dimmer ($100) lets you adjust the light in any room just by softly rubbing your hand across it. To turn the lights out, just gently tap the ball. The cool thing is there's no hidden buttons or switches — this a patent pending electronic textile that uses your body to work its magic. The dimmer is also antimicrobial and stain resistant.
