Sony VAIO AW Series Notebook
The new Sony VAIO AW Series Notebook ($1,600 and up) does the heavy lifting of a workstation while on the road. Powered by an Intel Core 2 Duo P8400 processor (2.26GHz) with Centrino 2 technology, the laptop sports a huge 18.4-inch LCD display and Sony's XBRITE-FullHD LCD technology for 1080p clarity. It comes standard with a Blu-ray Disc optical drive (for watching movies or saving files on high-capacity BD media), an HDMI output, and a built-in CompactFlash reader. The AW notebook is available in titanium gray and a glossy piano black finish.
