Sony VAIO UX Micro PC

With all of the hoopla surrounding the ultra-portable Origami devices, we knew it was just a matter of time before Sony introduced something that was just as awesome. Sony's new VAIO UX Micro PC ($1,800; July), which weighs just over a pound, is powered by an an Intel Core Solo processor, runs Microsoft Windows XP Pro, and features a 4.5-inch wide SVGA screen that slides up to expose an integrated keyboard. The pocket-size device also comes with a docking station, two built-in cameras (one for video conferencing and another or taking photos), and Wi-Fi, Bluetooth, and Cingular EDGE connectivity.
