The Godfather - The Coppola Restoration Set
The first two speck-laden Godfather films finally get cleaned up in the The Godfather - The Coppola Restoration Set (Sept. 23). Both The Godfather and The Godfather, Part II have been "meticulously restored" by Paramount (overseen by Coppola himself), and are packaged together with a newly remastered version of The Godfather, Part III. The DVD version ($63) includes several previously released special features, along with four new featurettes and four short films on the The Godfather. The Blu-ray version ($80) includes the same new extras (in HD), along with the entire collection of extras found on the 2001 DVD set.
