Uncrate wasn't around when Nada Surf's Let Go was released. But believe us, we were happy campers that a) the band had moved past its "Popular" one-hit wonder song and b) that we had found such a tremendously awesome album. So, you could say we've been just a little stoked to have been enjoying The Weight Is a Gift ($14) for the past couple months. With producing help from Death Cab For Cutie's Chris Walla, the disc is quite simply a pop-rock masterpiece. Standout tracks: "Always Love" and "Do It Again."
