The Wire - The Complete Fifth Season
We still tear up at the thought of no more seasons of The Wire. Arguably the best show ever to grace TV, the final season turned out to be an epic ending to an excellent run, and you can watch it all on the DVD set out this week. Even though there's a fairly far-fetched manufactured serial killer plot line, the final season, with its focus on the media, was still the most real show on television. McNulty warns that you should start at the beginning if you're a new viewer. The show is not very accessible and must be watched starting with season 1.
