TiVo Series2 DT DVR
TiVo today finally announced its first standalone dual-tuner DVR model. It may not be the long-fabled Series3 HD TiVo, but it's still something we most definitely want. The new TiVo Series2 DT DVR ($100; May 1) allows you to record two shows at once (cable households only) and sports built-in Ethernet and USB ports for easily connecting the box to your home network. The Series2 DT DVR will initially be available in an 80-hour model that will feature all of the current perks of being a member of the TiVo cult, including TiVoToGo transfers, online scheduling, and integrated broadband services from Yahoo!, Fandango, Live365, and more.
