Tom Ford's Santa Fe Ranch

Spanning 20,662 acres across New Mexico, designer Tom Ford's Santa Fe Ranch looks like something out of an old western. Mostly because it houses the original set from 1985's Silverado and is still being used in films like Cowboys and Aliens, Wild, Wild West, 3:10 to Yuma, and All the Pretty Horses. Designed by architect Tadao Ando, the main residence counters its iconic movie town neighbor with sleek modern lines, floating on top of the waters of a reflecting pool. The property also contains an eight-stall horse barn, indoor and outdoor riding arenas, separate staff quarters, two private guest houses, and its own landing strip. If this still isn't enough, there are plans and scale models for an additional compound to be built on the highest point of the ranch.
