Volkswagen Golf R32
While there was no mention of U.S. availability in the announcement this week, the Volkswagen Golf R32 (starting at €32,200) is simply too awesome not to cover. The R32 has a 250-hp 3.2-liter V6 engine, 4MOTION four-wheel drive, and comes either with either a manual 6-speed or an optional dual clutch gearbox (DSG). On the outside, the top of the line Golf gets gets the aluminum treatment on the front bumper, a subtle hatch spoiler, dual polished stainless steel tailpipes, and 20-spoke 18-inch wheels with huge blue brake calipers hiding behind them. The R32 has sleek sports seats, aluminum pedals, six airbags, and much more inside. The car goes on sale in Germany next month. [via Jalopnik]
