Pinkerton aside, Weezer's best albums have mostly been self-titled affairs, with back-to-basics songwriting that is both clever and infectious. Weezer (Red Album) ($10) continues this trend with ten solid tracks that are undeniably Weezer, with produciton by the legendary Rick Rubin. Experimental? Not exactly, but sometimes more of the same is a good thing. Standout tracks: "Pork and Beans," "The Greatest Man That Ever Lived," "Automatic."
