The Harris Tweed Industry

On the Island of Harris and Lewis in the Outer Hebrides, Scotland, over 170 freelance weavers are keeping the Harris Tweed alive. The centuries-old tradition of hand-weaving the material was originally called "big cloth" and is even protected by its own act of parliament. In this short documentary, you get to see the colorful characters that make the famous fabric and the strong heritage behind it.
