World Land Speed Record

With speeds that peaked 175 mph, BYU engineering broke the world land speed record for the 1,100 pound class by averaging speeds of 155.8 mph at the Bonneville Salt Flats. It took 7 years and 130 students to manufacture the custom built Electric Blue streamliner and 1 failed attempt to break the record.
