Land Rover has officially taken the wraps off its latest classic — the all-new 2020 Defender. Land Rover's reboot of its best-loved model wears paint that makes it hard to see the styling details, but the boxy silhouette looks like an updated take on the original Defender's boxy styling. Land Rover isn't skimping on the Defender's legendary off-road capability. The SUV reached North America earlier in December and is undergoing brutal testing, with Land Rover claiming it will be the toughest model to come from the company — quite a claim considering their history. Able to operate in temperatures from -40 to 120 degrees and at altitudes above 13,000 feet, Land Rover isn't taking this Defender reboot lightly. A full reveal will come in 2019, with the production version hitting American shores in 2020. It's going to be a long wait.
