2006 Honda Element

2006 Honda Element

Although the Element has been around for a while, Honda just wised up this year and decided to actually paint the entire vehicle (yeah, what a concept). The new EX-P Models (starting at $20,125) are the first Elements to come with painted body panels and body-colored door handles, something potential buyers have been complaining about since the SUV debuted. Like previous Elements, the new models have tons of cargo room, a versatile interior, available 4 wheel drive, and an ample 156-hp i-VTEC 4-cylinder engine. The Element is perfect for any weekend trek, and can haul just about anything you'll ever buy at the mall.

  • 2006 Volkswagen Touareg V6

Although it has a funny name, the Volkswagen Touareg (starts at $37,000) is no joke. It shares more than a couple parts with it's high performance cousin, the Porsche Cayenne, has 240hp, and features options like adjustable Bi-Xenon headlights, keyless access, 19" wheels, and a multifunction computer. Plus, it's like half as much as the Cayenne, so you can get one for your wife too.

  • Subaru B9 Tribeca

Subaru's new B9 Tribeca (starting at $30,700) seats up to seven passengers, offers ample performance and sports a modern aggressive look. The crossover sport utility vehicle has a 250-hp 3.0-liter boxer engine, symmetrical all-wheel drive, and an MP3 stereo system with an optional touch-screen GPS system and rear-seat DVD entertainment system package.
