2011 Dodge Durango Heat

It might not have the most smoking looks, but the 2011 Dodge Durango Heat ($30,300) packs a surprising amount of... power. The five-passenger, full-size SUV features a Pentastar V-6 producing 296 horsepower and good for 23 miles per gallon fuel economy, an aggressively-tuned suspension for hugging the curves, available all-wheel-drive, a color-matched grille, 20-inch wheels, a dual exhaust, and whopping 50 cubic feet of storage behind the second row of seats — more than enough room to practice making the progeny it will take to fill it.

  • Rally Fighter

Like something out of a video game, the Rally Fighter is a custom-designed off-roader that mixes sports car looks with Baja-tested utility. Wrapped in vinyl to reduce weight and cost, the Fighter features a tubular steel chassis and space frame, nose, rear, underbelly and floor pans made from carbon fiber, a 6.2 Liter, V8 Engine good for 430 hp and paired to an automatic transmission, rear wheel drive, four-wheel anti-lock disc brakes, and 17-inch aluminum alloy wheels, as well as 18 inches of suspension travel to help you traverse whatever the trail throws your way. [Thanks, Bradley]

  • Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition

If you really love your first-person shooters — and we mean really — perhaps you'll be interested in the 2011 Jeep Wrangler Call of Duty: Black Ops Edition ($31,000-$33,500). Available in either traditional two-door or Unlimited four-door versions, these special edition off-roaders feature Mopar fuel doors and taillamp guards, a black exterior with Call of Duty: Black Ops logos on the roof and front quarter panels, an entirely black interior, and dark Rubicon wheels in a high-gloss Mineral Gray with 32-inch off-road tires. A copy of the game is, amazingly, not included, although if you can afford to blow nearly $35K on a video game-themed ride, you've probably got the extra $60 to shell out for a disc.
