Copenhagen Silo

Previously used to store grain, the Copenhagen Silo has been repurposed to adapt to its developing North Harbor home. The 17-story structure now offers 38 apartments ranging from single-story units to multi-level penthouses. Each residence features floor-to-ceiling windows, private balconies, and wall heights up to 7 meters. While the interior maintains its industrial roots with raw concrete walls and supports, the exterior has received a contemporary update. The original facade has been wrapped in a folded galvanized steel, turning the monolithic building into a statement piece for the evolving neighborhood.

  • Wimbledon House

First built in 1968, the Wimbledon House is a complete restoration of London's iconic 22 Parkside. The single-story building was first designed by architect Richard Rogers and his wife. A practitioner of modernist design, the home is comprised of two simple forms made mostly of colorful steel and floor-to-ceiling glazing. In 2015, the home was gifted to the Harvard Graduate School of Design where it received a two-year renovation. While much of the structures original heritage remained intact, the views from the glass facade have changed thanks to a an extensive re-design of the surrounding garden.

  • Coyle Cabins

Overlooking the Hood Canal, the Coyle Cabins are a Washington retreat with Danish roots. Clean lines and simple forms dominate the three gabled structures that make up the residence. The dark cedar exterior cladding is contrasted on the interior by white walls, natural pine floors, and light wood trim. The two main compartments are separated by public and private areas, while the site's original building has been renovated into a bunk house — each providing their own unique views of the landscape. A series of French doors offer direct access to the outdoors, as well as constant views of the dense Douglas fir forest, the harbor, and the surrounding Olympic Mountains.
