Green Island Lighthouse

Built in 1856, the Green Island Lighthouse is a historic Maine landmark. The picturesque residence sits just off the coast of Brooklin on a one-acre private island. At just over 1,700 square-feet, the white clapboard cottage houses 4 bedrooms, a kitchen, wood-burning stove, and runs on solar electric. A large front porch offers views of the two beaches, while the Blue Hill Bay Lighthouse captures glimpses of both the Isle Au Haut and the Acadia mountains.
