Minam River Lodge

Only accessible by foot, horseback, or chartered flight, Oregon's Minam River Lodge is about as secluded as it gets. The former hunting lodge sits on the banks of its namesake landmark in the middle of the Eagle Cap Wilderness. Although the location may be rugged, the accommodations are anything but. Lodging includes glamping-style tents with queen beds, cabins with waterfall showers and wood stoves, as well as guest rooms, featuring a 600 square foot suite with views of the river valley and the Eagle Caps. For those looking for an authentic camping experience, pack your sleeping bag and stay in on of their original teepees. The kitchen serves ou local fare, including vegetables and herbs from the onsite garden. Surrounded by 361,446-acres of wilderness, the property offers over 500 miles of hiking and horseback riding trails, trout fishing in the river, and glimpses of wildlife ranging from bald eagles to black bears.
