Electric vehicle manufacturer Nio is only three years old, but they already left a mark. The ES9 is the fastest electric — and fastest road car, period — around the famous Nürburgring. But their new ES8 is something more practical. An SUV aimed squarely at Tesla's Model X, the ES8 isn't as radical-looking but might cost a little less when it reaches American shores. A 70 kWh battery drives dual motors for about 220 miles of range, and the pleasing-yet-mainstream styling looks like the high-volume seller Nio expects this to be.
