Ski-Doo MX Z

Ski-Doo MX Z

Tear it up on the Ski-Doo MX Z ($10,200). This snowcross race sled is available with one of three liquid-cooled engines — the 600 H.O. E-TEC, 800R Power T.E.K. or 1200 4-TEC — and packs in a whole ton of special equipment you and us have never heard of. Stuff like Kayaba HPG Clicker Take-Apart aluminum front and rear shocks, a 1.25-inch lug RipSaw track, Pilot 5.7 skis, and a REV-XP racing seat. Regardless, this machine was born to shred.

  • Aerocar

Think flying cars are the wave of the future? Then you might want to check out the Aerocar ($3.5 million), a hybrid car/plane from 1956(!). With a serial number of 2, this unique ride was granted its first FAA certification in December of '56, with an informal inspection performed in 2006. Beyond the fact that it flies (sorta; it needs reconditioning to be flight-ready), the Aerocar was also ahead of its time with its small, two-seat build and streamlined rear. [Thanks, Chad]

  • Gas Powered Snowboard

For those who don't need a full blown snowmobile, this Gas Powered Snowboard ($2,000) might be a nice, unnecessary alternative. Powered by a 6.5-hp 4-cycle gas engine, this yellow snow scooter jets you around any type of snow and can accommodate riders up to 250 lbs. It's got a max speed of 18 mph and can go for two hours straight on only 3/4-gallon of gas.
