Inspired by the surrounding landscape, the Ayla Golf Academy and Clubhouse becomes a park of Jordan's Aqaba desert. The structure created by Oppenheim Architecture mimics the neighboring dunes with a wavy roofline. To further integrate the exterior into the scenery, the curved concrete shell is tinted with a matching, sandy hue. The building serves the country's first signature golf course — an 18-hole, Greg Norman design with practice grounds, putting greens, and two indoor swing studios. Inside the rolling mounds, the complex also offers shops, restaurants, a bar, fitness center, and spa.
