Tucked away in the pristine landscapes of Scotland, the Bothy Project is a refuge for those seeking inspiration. The network of tiny, off-grid shelters are modeled after traditional mountain cabins but have been executed in a modern way. Conceived by a team of artists, designers, and architects, each one is completely immersed in the surrounding wilderness to optimize creativity. The network currently consists of three units based on the coast of Croft Island, the banks of the river Spey, and the grounds of the Scottish National Gallery of Modern Art.
