Situated on a hillside on Mercer Island, the Brook Bay House is a modern fixture against the rustic Pacific Northwest backdrop. The home is clearly defined by its material palette. Public areas are housed within the copper panels. The industrial finish also lines the interior where it is met by black concrete and granite. Located in a cantilevered wing, the master suite is clad in a warm cedar. The space is comprised of a bedroom, office, and limestone bathroom. Extending toward the water, the volume not only creates privacy from the rest of the home but also affords extensive views of Lake Washington.
