Steps away from the Great Barrier Reef, the Cape Tribulation House is an off-grid retreat nestled on seven acres of Daintree Rainforest. The home was built on a natural clearing, preserving the native landscape. Clad in a black plastic and a mirrored glass facade, the exterior blends into the dense vegetation, while internal walls sheathed in plywood create a warm contrast. South-facing windows take advantage of the lush setting, putting the ecosystem on full display throughout the entire interior.
