Car Park House

Faced with a severe downslope from the street and a building code that requires parking for two cars, Anonymous Projects flipped traditional home design on its head — literally — by putting the parking on the roof. Thus named the Car Park House, this unique home has a carport on the roof, accessible by bridge only, set next to a deck that overlooks the San Gabriel Mountains. Underneath, there are multiple bedrooms, plenty of skylights to let in natural light, and a main living space with floor-to-ceiling windows to take in the view.
