Reposado and añejo tequilas are often far more flavorful than their clear counterparts thanks to the aging process. Yet they're often overlooked in tequila-based cocktails that require a clear spirit to maintain their appearance. Casamigos has a solution with its new Cristalino Reposado Tequila. It's made from 100% Blue Weber agave from the Jalisco highlands that are slow-cooked, double-distilled, and matured in American oak barrels. But instead of going straight to the bottle, it's then charcoal filtered to remove the color picked up from the aging process and restore the brightness of a blanco while retaining some of the cask notes, including vanilla, raisin, and fig.
