Chicago Church Conversion

Mixing original details with custom modern additions, this Chicago Church Conversion takes a former house of worship and transforms it into family home. The renovated space includes seven bedrooms and six bathrooms, as well as a huge great room with 25-foot ceilings, and retains several unique features like the stained glass windows, exposed beams, bell tower, and brickwork. So it's all the more impressive Linc Thelen Design was able to harmoniously blend those with custom features like a floating steel stair case with glass rails, integrated firewood storage in the monolith-like chimney, and the climbing wall that's hidden away in one of the bedrooms.
