Chuey House

Built in 1956 by noted architect Richard Neutra, the Chuey House sits on two-acres high in the Hollywood Hills. The International-style home was designed for poet Josephine Ain Chuey and features floor-to-ceiling glazing with expansive views of both the canyon and the Los Angeles basin. While the dwelling's clean lines and cantilevered deck are a mid-century dream, it's 1,896-square-foot floorplan might not suit the modern buyer. But all is not lost. The property could support up to a 20,000-square-foot stunner as long as the new buyers are willing to relocate the historic structure for preservation.
