Cloud Cabins

On a mountainside in China, Wiki World and Advanced Architecture Lab have placed the Cloud Cabins. The collection of 18 volumes make up a nature-inspired hotel complex high in the mist of Yichang. The project includes five different cabins housing guest rooms, a cafe, and a swimming pool. Each one ranges from 366 square feet to 700 square feet and float above the terrain to protect the integrity of the land. Exteriors feature a mirrored facade to reflect the forest scenery while Nordic-style interiors are wrapped in warm wood paneling for a minimalist aesthetic and expansive windows immerse guests in the landscape.
