Smaller than the Pro and more capable than the Spark, the DJI Mavic Air with the Fly More Combo is an ideal choice for beginners and mobile enthusiasts alike. It folds up to a pocketable, book-like size and weighs under a pound, yet houses a powerful camera with a 1/2.3" CMOS sensor and a 24mm f/2.8 equivalent lens. To get the most out of that hardware, it has a 3-axis gimbal for smooth 4K video, new HDR algorithms for improved 12-megapixel stills, and a host of autonomous modes that make shooting great-looking footage a snap. Gesture controls let you capture moments even if you leave its folding remote at home, but hook it up, and you get 720p real-time video at distances of over two miles.
