Do-C Hotel
Located in Tokyo, the Do-C Hotel reimagines the capsule hotel. The existing building was already equipped with pods. The retro capsules, along with their beige hue, were refurbished for the current project. Aside from that, the interior received a contemporary redesign. Much of the inside is now finished with raw plywood. Fiber reinforced plastic is introduced in the washroom, lining the area from floor to ceiling. To reinstate the authentic characteristics of a traditional Japanese capsule hotel, saunas were imported from Finland.
