Dragonfly House

Inspired by its namesake, the Dragonfly House rests lightly on its hilltop plot overlooking Whitefish Lake. The modern vacation home is nestled on the edge of a pine forest and blends into its surroundings with reclaimed barn wood siding. Its main living area is flanked by floor-to-ceiling glazing, immersing the interior in lake views. When opened, the room turns into an open-air pavilion, expanding the room out to a meadow courtyard on one side, and a waterfront terrace on the other. A former campsite for the owners, the property maintains a connection to nature with a series of outdoor areas including covered decks, a fire pit, and a hot pool, all connected by a pathway that begins at the driveway and ends at the lake.
