Set along the coast of Portugal, the Elliptic House takes its form from its geometric namesake. Overlapping ovals create the contemporary exterior, giving the home a sculpted quality. The seaward wall takes advantage of its curved silhouette with a glazed facade, affording ocean views for nearly every room in the house. The circular motif continues throughout the structure in windows, a reflecting pool, jacuzzi, and a cutout in the cantilevered roof which allows both sun and shade for the poolside terrace.
