Funded by a Kickstarter and currently floating about on Lake Union in Seattle, this Floating Sauna is a buoyant piece of modern architecture. The deck is framed in aluminum and clad in marine-grade plywood, while the sauna is covered in treated plywood with an ebony stain and lined on the inside with spruce, which was also used to create benches within. A ladder provides access to a rooftop diving platform, and an electric trolling motor helps move the 4,500 pound structure across the water. While it's not exactly for sale, we know the project goal was $43,000, so if you want to try and talk the designers into building you one of your own, at least you've got an idea of what it will cost.
