Ghent House
Scattered across a hillside, the Ghent House minimizes impact while maximizing views. The rural retreat is located on a 78-acre site in the Catskills. Its black timber volumes nestled in a grassy knoll, each containing a single room. An underground passageway connects the four bedrooms with the kitchen, living area, and dining room, and large panels of glazing give every unit an expansive view of the pastoral landscape.
